How to get here
Teatro Nazionale Firenze is located at Via dei Cimatori 6, in the historic center of Florence, and is easily accessible by public transportation, car, and on foot.
On Foot
The Teatro Nazionale Firenze is a 1-minute walk from Casa di Dante and Piazza della Signoria and a 3-minute walk from the Duomo and the Uffizi Gallery.
By tram
Lines T2 and T1 stop at Stazione Santa Maria Novella, a 10-minute walk away, providing quick connections between the airport, and park-and-ride facilities and the theater.
By train
The Santa Maria Novella station is 900 meters away, or a 5 minute taxi ride.
By car
The theater is located in a Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL), so access by car requires a daily permit that can be purchased online. We do not have any on-site parking, but there are several nearby parking garages outside the ZTL: Sant’Ambrogio, Beccaria, San Lorenzo, and Santa Maria Novella. If you park at Villa Costanza, the theater is easily accessible in about 22 minutes via tram line T1, which takes you to Santa Maria Novella, just a 10- to 15-minute walk from the Teatro Nazionale Firenze.
Accessibility
The theater is equipped with an elevator providing access to all levels of the boxes and the Jazz Bar. There are two steps at the entrance, so please notify us in advance if you have guests with disabilities.
