The main entrance is at via dei Cimatori 6, in the historic city centre, and is easily accessible by public transportation, car, and on foot.
On foot
Teatro Nazionale Firenze is a 1-minute walk from Casa di Dante and Piazza della Signoria, and 3 minutes from the Duomo and the Galleria degli Uffizi.
By tram
Tram line T2, with stops at Santa Maria Novella station (10 minutes on foot), provides fast connections from the airport and park-and-ride facilities to the theatre.
By car
The theatre is in a Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL), so car access requires a daily permit, purchasable online. There is no private parking, but several nearby garages are available outside the ZTL: Sant’Ambrogio, Beccaria, San Lorenzo and Santa Maria Novella. Parking at Villa Costanza, the theatre can be reached in approximately 22 minutes via tram line T1, arriving at Santa Maria Novella station, just 10-15 minutes’ walk from Teatro Nazionale Firenze.
By train
Santa Maria Novella station is 900 m away, or approximately 5 minutes by taxi.
